Create the biggest Duel Commander tournament in the world !
The Universal Prime Fest is the biggest event organized by MTG Prime so far. For three days, test your decks in various formats present every day: Duel Commander, Modern, Legacy, Pioneer and Pauper. 8 men will also be possible on request, including drafts.
Participate in the Main Event Duel Commander with a capacity of 350 places and try to make it the biggest Duel Commander tournament in the world. At stake ? Up to 24 Dual Lands to share in the top8 and vouchers for all day 2 qualified players.

For the event, an exclusive playmat and a silicone bracelet engraved with the name of the event have been made. So you can say: “I was there !”
Designed by Captain Magic Altered, it reflects the spirit desired by MTG Prime Events. In the editorial line of our events, we hope that this playmat will make you as powerful as a sun and as serene as the cosmos !
In addition to the playmat, a silicone bracelet engraved with the name of the event will complete the souvenir kit.
These two exclusive items can be picked up at the event ticket office for the sum of €20. In addition, an offer limited to 150 copies is open to participants of the Main Event: Main Event (40€) + Souvenir kit (20€) at 55€ instead of 60.
Magnificent Rewards
Top8 is Dual Land for everyone ! This is the principle. Day 2 is to be rewarded. You are about to participate in a mini GP in Duel Commander, big performance big win.
The tournament will start on Saturday morning at 10am (see program below) and will take place over 2 days from 8 rounds (129+ participants). On Saturday the first 7 rounds will be played. All those who have 15 points will pass D2.
Of course, several reward grids are planned depending on the attendance, of which here is the first from 150 people:
1st : Mer Souterraine + Badlands
2nd : Bayou + Scrubland
3-4th : Tundra
5-8th : Plateau
9-16th : 60€ voucher
17-32th : 30€ voucher (+ 10€ Ultra Pro voucher)
33-(remainder J2) : 25€ voucher (+10€ Ultra Pro voucher limited to 50 voucher)
Each level will be revised upwards every 50 more people until you reach the final level that you probably already know !
Program
How are all the trials going during the weekend ?
Whether on Friday (Trials Prime Fest) or Saturday (Trial Sunday Tournament), they will operate on the same principle. Limited to 32 people, €10 each with byes, invitations to the corresponding tournament by adding vouchers to be used in the partner shop*. The breakdown of the prizes will be as follows**:
5-0 or 1st : 50€*** + bye****
12+ points : 20€
10+ points : 10€
What is a Side ?
Regardless of its format, during the Universal Prime Fest each Side will be priced at €10 and will be played in 3 swiss rounds (no top) and your prizes will be based on your number of points and in the form of vouchers to be used in the partner store* as follows :
4 points : 5€
6 points : 10€
7 points : 15€
9 points : 25€
Sunday Tournaments
To end in apotheosis this eventful weekend rich in tournaments of all types, all the Barbillat Touraine spaces will be occupied by 5 tournaments, 3 of which have a capacity of 128 people and 2 of 64.
At the price of €25 each, complete your weekend of success by trying to win one of them. To put each format on an equal footing, the allocation grids will be the same in the form of vouchers from the partner store.

Already used in the National All Star 2013, the Barbillat Touraine room will once again be the cradle of Magic in France and why not Europe for the space of a weekend.
Located in the heart of Belle Isle Park (12 hectares), you can enjoy this green setting between your games and tournaments.

Captain Magic Altered
Honor to the ladies or rather to the lady. She will embody good humor throughout this event. Recently voted 3rd best professional alterer in the world, take the opportunity to embellish your collection with some of her alterations and why not have her sign the carpet of the souvenir kit because she is the creator !
Kevin Altered
Do you like shiny things? Do you like alterations? So this is the man you need! Each foil alteration that Kevin Altered produces is a unique piece. The final boss of the foil, he is never short of ideas to innovate especially when it comes to things that shine.
Johann Bodin
Johann Bodin aka YOZ became a professional illustrator in 2005 at the age of 28. At the Utopiales in 2007, he won the Art&Fact prize.
He works in publishing (cover for Gallimard, l’Atalante, Mnémos, Bragelonne…) and we also find him in the famous card game Magic: the Gathering since 2009.
He participated in the Odyssey of Ulysses, published in 2010 and published by Larousse jeunesse.
In 2011, he co-authored the volume Vertige des Origines with Michel Borderie and Cyril Vignac, this graphic novel is published by Arcantès and Spootnik. In 2014, follows a second volume.
In 2015, the Sketchbooks were released by Armada editions.
Release of Wildlands in 2018, a sketchbook with Michel Borderie, a co-edition by Fantasy Parc and Arcantès.
2019 sees his inktoberbook published by Rroyzz.
Her friend Chloé Veillard, an editor, produces her video portfolio with talent, where she brilliantly animates and brings her 2D images to life.
Finally in 2022, he participates in the Witcher Codex at Bragelonne.
